Any tips for opening a frozen door handle?
I yanked it hard and it opened but didn't feel good about that.

Hey all!
I recently got a flat tire on my 2024 Model Y at Costco. The car has 25,000 miles and is still running on the original set of tires. I was getting notifications that the tread was light and it was tire for rotation / new tires. I’ve been quoted $350 per tire from Costco, which seems reasonable, but I’m trying to weigh my options.
I guess that means I should replace both of them. 🤢
Questions:
1. Should I buy the replacement tire from Costco, or should I consider getting it from Tesla directly?
2. What are the pros and cons of going through Costco versus Tesla Service for tire replacement?
I’d appreciate any insights on tire performance, service experiences, and whether Costco has been reliable with Tesla tire replacements. Thanks in advance for your advice!
At 45kw, car usually charges at 200mi/hr. Based on this it appears that the car is using 20% of the charge rate to heat the battery as indicated by the app. Any way I can force the battery to preheat on my commute even though I'm not navigating to a supercharger? (So I don't need to waste energy preheating the battery while parked?)
The current offer is $4000 off, plus $7,500 ev credit, plus 0% for 5 years. I paid the order fee but now I am worried since hearing about the refresh. Will Juniper be more expensive?
I've seen my previous car coated in a quarter inch of ice that took 3 days to melt off. I could only open one door and crawl up to the driver's seat. With the retractable handles, no chance of getting in.
Questions...
Do the handles retract when it is near/below freezing? They should not or it should be an option.
Is there an option to turn off handle retraction when powered off? For the 12V issue alone I would think this would be a nice feature. Not sure why the handles need to retract when off other than the cool factor.
If you remote start the vehicle, is there a heating element on the door handles to de-ice them?
