At 45kw, car usually charges at 200mi/hr. Based on this it appears that the car is using 20% of the charge rate to heat the battery as indicated by the app. Any way I can force the battery to preheat on my commute even though I'm not navigating to a supercharger? (So I don't need to waste energy preheating the battery while parked?)

Is it even possible? Ideally without having to pay for a 3rd party app like Tessy. I got Home Assistant though

How do you manually start precondition of battery? lets say you are going to a none tesla charger. But its still 300kw DC charger. How do i precondition my battery so i can charge faster ?

I have a 2020 model 3 (but bought in 2019). I only charge it to 80% now. But it feels like I can barely go anywhere without the battery going down significantly. I have about 90k miles on the car. I saw that the warranty is until 100k miles or 8 years. How to check battery degradation please and has anyone been successful using that warranty ?

I'm expecting to start looking for a used Model S next week. Is there any way of checking the battery health when doing an initial viewing, even just a basic starting point, other than just looking at range and charge as a rough idea? I have a Bluetooth code reader if that helps.

Or is it have a look and get Cleverly or someone else to come out to run a test?
