Is there any way to use YouTube when driving?
Hi, I subscribed to a few news videos and would like to listen when driving to office in the morning. Tesla theatre doesn’t allow YouTube when driving, I also tried browser and abettertheatre but got playback error. Is there any way to use YouTube when the car is moving? Don’t need to see the video but just listen. Thanks
Bluetooth from phone, YouTube premium is worth it if you watch a lot of content, get a MagBak case and mount.
i use my phone through Bluetooth
Same
Ok I see thanks! Time to find a phone rack then :-)
If you don't need to look at it, then why bother with a phone mount? Just leave it on the wireless charger
need to touch the phone to choose from which video to play :-)
Make a YouTube playlist and just play them in order.
Also, like someone else mentioned, there’s a YouTube Premium subscription which allows you to get YouTube Music, which allows audio-only access to YouTube videos, but I just opened it up and tried to put a podcast in a playlist and it appears anything in your playlists that aren’t marked as “music” (I don’t know how they get “marked”) won’t show up. Thought I might have had a solution for you there.
So regular playlist, regular app, and auto play next setting, and just don’t look at it.
Great idea. I didn’t think of YouTube premium
Too logical of an answer. Real issue is wanting to watch but don't want to be flamed for watching phone while driving.
If you’re just listening leave it in the charging cradle. This is a great use case for YouTube Premium also of youre concerned about mobile data overages, I download the latest news videos I want to listen to and play it back over Bluetooth and control it through the steering wheel or on screen buttons.

Skipping through ads requires touching the screen and it is a pain while driving with the phone on the charger. It’s much better if you pay for ad free.
YouTube Premium ftw.

Call parking??
You call the cops on your neighbors 😂
