Are there pro's/con's for reporting mileage to Tesla?

My policy is set to renew next month and I got the same email requesting me to agree to get my mileage auto approved, but I didn't do anything.

This morning I get my policy letter stating my new insurance 6 month premium will kick in next month (as expected), though the policy went up like ~$5.

This is the first time my policy went up in price since owning my MYLR last year in March.

If you check this reddit Thread one redditor from that thread said his went down $20/mo but that could vary. Tesla insurance is very unpredictable from what I've noticed.

Another Thread with some people having some decrease and increased payments.

The odometer reporting seems like a mandatory thing. Here is the email from Tesla:

"Your policy is set to be renewed on September 30, 2024. Providing an updated odometer reading in your Tesla App is required for one or more of your vehicles before your policy can be renewed. Ensure your Tesla App is upgraded to the latest version. Failure to provide an odometer reading may result in a policy non-renewal. Tap the link below on your phone to provide your odometer in your Tesla App."
