Help! I've used so many pry tools and can't seem to get the light out of the bottom of the door. Now it's beginning to get damaged, nothing seems to pop them out. I had a 2018 and didn't have a problem.
The OEM projection lights (2097851-00-A) come as a pair for the driver and passenger side. The lights work in all four doors however the rear door wiring harness on the 2024 Model 3 is is so short that you have to swap the L and R (just fyi for anyone who wanted all four to match!
Took <10 mins to install and adds a great touch!
Definitely worth it. Was hesitant on buying 3rd party ones due to potential failure with the lights and causing issues with the window mechanisms and possibly leading to cracking the window. Now that Tesla came out with these in the US, I had to get me two sets!
Will be installing the other two for the rear doors when they arrive tomorrow. Which should fit the rear doors considering the part numbers are the same for both the front and rear puddle lights.
