How do you check the odometer on Tesla model y?
Is there any way to determine how many miles were on the odometer on a given date? For example, how many miles were on my car on June 1, 2021? Does the model 3 store this info anywhere?
Thanks!
Did anyone see a significant difference between how many miles Tesla drove vs actual miles?
For example, yesterday I drove around 90 miles on a trip. But when I check that on Google maps with all the places covered it's showing around 70 miles only. That is a significant difference (22%). Even if we include driving it off the garage or inside parking places, there is atleast 20% difference.
So if my odometer is showing I drove 20,000 miles, in reality I might have driven only 16,000 miles. If it's true, then it's a significant issue since it drives down the value of my car unnecessarily. Did anyone else observe this issue ?
Edit: I will try the highway miles to check this. But I'm positive that my theory will be false.
Recently picked up my LR, AWD, Model 3 and am just wondering (since I can't find the answer in the manual) how I can see the odometer while driving?
I'm so used to being able to glance down and see my odometer reading, plus be able to see a trip odometer at the push of a button. I need to keep track of mileage for work and often need to be able to call up the mileage quickly to mark it down.
I can't see any way to see the mileage other than pressing the Tesla logo on the screen. But even then, I don't know how to call up a trip odometer or have one on the screen.
Is there any way to have the odometer on the screen at all times?
And before anyone responds by saying that you don't need to see the odometer - yes, I do. Fairly frequently. And I need to set trip odometers as well.
